The ODC family of Roll-2-Roll® Sensors is the latest generation that incorporates advanced CMOS line scan cameras. The high dynamics range cameras provides improved sensitivity to pick hard to sense materials and low contrast differences. The new and improved camera technology includes a global shutter to eliminate motion blurr for high speed applications. Additionally, ODC can provide up to 4 times the scan rate compared to WPS. 

Apart from the new and improved camera, the ODC uses the same patented fiber optic sensing principle to enable applications such as edge position measurement/guiding, contrast position measurement/guiding, web width measurement/monitoring, thread inspection, ribbon inspection, mark detection, flag detection, product length measurment, etc. Roll-2-Roll® Sensor with an appropriate Roll-2-Roll® Controller is an affordable vision-like sensing system without the hassles of traditional vision systems.
